My $40 Weekly Grocery Challenge :: Week 7

Before I get to this week's challenge, I have to admit that last week I did not get my grocery challenge posted. I became sick with strep throat and did not get pictures of my stash. I did make it to the store before I got sick but I have no pictures to show you--sorry! I did however, stay in my budget. After a trip to Sams for some meat, my weekly Publix trip, and the Produce Market, I stayed on track of my $40 budget. I used up most all of my budget, so I am starting this week with $40 in cash! :)

Here are the pics and details of my Publix trip last night. I SPENT: $13.55 and SAVED: $81.28!

-4 packs of Dixie Paper Plates (had raincheck for BOGO @ $2.65 each) = $5.30

I also stopped by Walgreens for some canned mushrooms @ .50 each and I did the Target Keebler Cookie Gift card deal (will post about that next) After all that, I still have almost $20 left of my weekly grocery budget for the week and I got back a $5 Target gift card! I plan to ROLL my Target gift card by doing the Special K Bar deal tomorrow! Stay tuned for the sweet details! :)
