Changes to the Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day for 2016

I just wanted to give you all a heads up that there are some changes to Cow Appreciation Day beginning this year at Chick-fil-A. Be sure to pass along this information with all of your family and friends!

You can see all the details on the Chick-fil-A website, but here are some of the biggest changes....

1. Cow Appreciation Day is Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from opening until 7:00 PM.

We moved the event to a Tuesday in 2016 in an effort to provide a better dining experience for those participating in our Cow Appreciation Day event as well as those who are simply dining with Chick-fil-A. Tuesdays are typically slower business days than Fridays, one of the busiest days within the fast food industry.

2. This year we’ve simplified the reward. In order to make the award more consistent for all and provide the highest guest experience, anyone wearing anything cowlike will receive an entrée in 2016.

Guests in cow attire may select any breakfast, lunch or dinner entrée. Kids dressed like a cow may select a Kid's Meal.

All Tampa Bay area Chick-fil-A Restaurants will offer a free “mystery” breakfast item four consecutive Wednesdays beginning Feb. 24 and ending March 16 during regular breakfast hours (breakfast is served until 10:30 a.m.) Each Chick-fil-A Restaurant will decide individually which breakfast item to offer, and each customer will be limited to one item.

The mystery breakfast giveaway will take place the following dates: February 24, March 2, March 9 and March 16.

I am VERY excited about this! Chick-fil-A just released Grilled Chicken Nuggets to their menu! Chick-fil-A Kids' meals will now have this new item as an option. 

Here are some facts about the new Grilled Chicken Nuggets Kids Meal:

  • 4-count nuggets has only 80 calories and 1gram of fat, while the 6-count nuggets have 110 calories and 1.5 grams of fat.
  • 100 percent all-breast meat chicken.
