My Walmart Trip: Just Paid $1.60 Tax!

Everything pictured was just $1.60, the cost of tax!

I thought that I would mix things up a bit this week and show you my trip from Walmart. This was actually the first time that I have been since the new Walmart coupon policy came out allowing overage. I was expecting a hassle, but the cashier was so nice and gave me the overage!

4 Women's Nivea Body Washes @ $3 each

Used 4 $3/1 Women's Nivea Body Wash coupons from 4/17 RP insert

Final Price= 4 bottles for FREE!

1 Men's Nivea Body Wash @ $3 each (all they had left)

Used 1 $3/1 Men's Nivea Body Wash coupon from 4/17 RP insert

Final Price= FREE!

2 Women's Trial Sized Degree Deodorant @ $0.97 each

Used $1/1 Women's Degree Deodorant coupon from 4/17 RP insert (no size restrictions)

Final Price= 2 for FREE + $0.06 overage!

4 Ivory Soap 3count packs @ $0.97 each

Used 4 $1/1 Ivory Soap coupons from 5/1 P&G insert (please note that this coupon states only 4 like coupons in one transaction)

Final Price= 4 packs for FREE + $0.12 overage!

2 Reach Floss @ $0.88 each

Used 2 $1/1 Reach Floss printable coupons (no longer available) I think that there is a $1/1 Reach Floss coupon in the 4/17 SS insert though, so check there. :)

Final Price= 2 for  FREE + $0.24 overage!

1 Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce @ $2.15 each

Used FREE coupon

Final Price= FREE!

1 Suavitel Liquid Fabric Softener @ $0.87 each (last one on the shelf, I will definitely be going back for more! )

Used $0.50/1 Suavitel Fabric Softener coupon from 5/1 SS insert

Final Price= $0.37!

Walmart: Better than FREE Iron Man 2 Matchbox Style Cars

Target sells the single eye shadow colors for around $2.49 each, so only $0.49 after coupon.

Target sells certain varieties of Rimmel mascara from $2.24-$2.99 each so as low as $0.24 after the coupon.

Wal-Mart also sells Rimmel cosmetics for around the same price, so either way you are sure to get a sweet deal!

Wow! Here is some super sweet news! Wal-Mart now has a new coupon policy! Here is one of the best parts I noted in the policy, "Coupons MAY EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE ITEM. Change may be given or applied towards the cost of the basket purchase." Isn't this great news? Now, we don't have to worry about items that give us overage!

I noticed in today's Redplum insert that there is a coupon for $1.50 off any Goodlife Cat Food. Both Wal-Mart and Target sell the small trays of wet food for around $0.79....this means FREE Cat Food! You can also get another $1.50 coupon off any Goodlife Cat Food over on the Redplum site!

It is reported that Wal-Mart sells this brand of eggs for around $1.57 per carton, so only $0.57 after coupon! Egg coupons are hard to come by so print this one while you can!

Wal-Mart: Gain 80 count Fabric Softener Sheets only $0.12!

I stopped by Wal-Mart this moring to see if they had any of the Gain Fabric Softener sheets in stock. Much to my surprise, they did! They were only $3.12 so with the $3/1 coupon from the 2/13 RP I scored them for $0.12 per box! Even the cashier was amazed at my bargain! :)

FYI- These coupons do state that you can only use 4 like coupons per transaction, so please make sure that you use the coupons the right way! 

Can I just say, that these smell so good? My entire car smelled like Gain on the way home! Ahhhh!
