My $40 Grocery Challenge: Week Two!!

This week has been a crazy week for me and family. Since hubby was in the hospital, my week has been a little off! I did make it to Publix today while he was resting, and I am quite happy with my bargains! Of my weekly $40 Grocery cash, I only spent $14!! I saved $135.08!! I do think that this is my best trip yet!! By the way, I ended up using my remaining food budget last week on some last minute things like bread, rice, and milk. I hope to save some of this week's cash to go towards meat!

Here is the breakdown of my sweet stash! I still have about $26 in cash left for the week!

--6 assorted Gatorade bottles BOGO @ $1.97 each minus 6 .50/1 manuf. coupons from the 1/10 RP stacked with 6 .55/1 Publix coupons from the Yellow Advantage flier = FREE plus overage for 6 HUGE bottles!!

--4 assorted Nissin Chow Mein noodles BOGO @ .89 each -no coupons-needed as filler items = $1.78

--2 pouches of Emerald Trail Mix Granola BOGO @ $1.99 each minus 2 $1/1 printable coupons found HERE = FREE!!

--4 boxes of Ritz Bitz crackers BOGO @ $2.99 each minus 2 $2/2 ANY Nabisco crackers printable coupons found HERE = $1.98 for 4 boxes! Drew loves these!

--2 boxes of Nabisco Teddy Grahams BOGO @ $2.99 each minus 1 FREE coupon from Nabisco = both boxes for FREE!! (remember, since it is a BOGO sale, one free coupon = 2 free items!!)

--6 boxes of Electrasol Dish washer tabs (had BOGO rain check for $4.99 each) used 6 $2.50/1 coupons from newspaper inserts = 6 boxes for FREE!! 

--1 half gallon of Lactaid Chocolate Milk-no coupons = $3.65

--9 assorted Healthy Choice Meals on sale 5 for $10 minus 1 $5/5 printable coupon found HERE 2 $1/2 printable coupons found HERE (these are from the Save A Lot site, but they are manuf. coupons and can be used anywhere) then stacked with 4 $1/2 Publix coupons from the Yellow Advantage flier = $7 for all 9 meals! I just love the Asian Inspired Steamers!!

--2 packages of Lenders Bagels BOGO @ $1.99 each minus 1 $1/2 printable coupon found HERE = .99 for 2 packages of bagels!                                          

--2 packages of Phazyme medicine @ $2.99 each minus 1 $2/1 manuf. coupon from inserts stacked with 1 $5/2 Publix coupon from the Green Advantage flier = FREE plus overage!

--4 bottles of Juicy Juice Apple Juice BOGO @ $3.49 each minus 4 $1/1 Target coupons found HERE (my Publix will accept as a competitor coupon) stacked with 1 $1/2 printable coupon found HERE = $1.95 for 4 bottles of Juicy Juice!

--4 jars of Peter Pan Peanut Butter BOGO @ $2.09 each minus 1 B2G1 from the December All You magazine stacked with 1 .50/2 manuf. coupon from the 1/10 inserts = $1.59 for 4 jars of peanut butter!

--2 boxes of Jolly Time Popcorn @ $1.00 each minus 2 .50/1 coupons = $1.00 for 2 boxes!!

--2 cans of Muir Glen Tomato Sauce @ .89 each minus 2 $1/1 printable coupons found HERE = FREE plus overage!!

--1 bag of Stacy's Pita Chips @ $2.50 minus FREE coupon from Facebook promo = FREE!! 

--1 box of Always Infinity Pads @ $3.99 each minus FREE coupon = FREE!!

--1 bottle of Herbal Essences hairspray @ $2.69 each minus FREE coupon from Facebook promo = FREE!

--1 bulb fresh garlic .25

--1 package of Breakstones cottage cheese 4 pack @ $2 each minus $1/1 coupon from the new Kraft booklet "Healthy Wallet-Happier You" found at Publix = $1 for a 4 pack!

--2 boxes of Special K Granola cereal BOGO @ $3.99 each minus BOGO printable coupon (link no longer available-sorry!) = FREE for 2 boxes of yummy granola!

--2 boxes of Smart Taste Pasta @ $1.25 each minus 2 .75/1 manuf. coupons from inserts = $1 for 2 boxes of good-for-you pasta! We really like this brand so I will be stocking up! :-)

--minus 2 $5/50 Competior coupons-they let me use 2 since my subtotal was over $100!

TOTAL: $14.08 SAVINGS: $135.14!! I think that I got some sweet deals for just $14!! :)
