My $40 Weekly Challenge :: Publix, Target, CVS, + More!
I am so thankful that my mom was able to watch Drew for me so that I could hit a few stores! For this week’s $40 challenge, I went to Publix twice, Target, CVS, and the local Produce market. In all I SAVED: $165 and SPENT: $34! Not my greatest week ever, but I got 4 Stouffers dinners that will be 4 meals, and stocked up on juice boxes and veggies for awhile!:)
1ST Publix Trip:
-2 Stouffer’s Family Sized Lasagnas @ $3.99 each
Used 2 $2.50/1 coupons from here + $1/2 Target coupon from a home mailer
= $1.99 for 2 meals!
-2 Scrubbing Bubbles Sprayer Starter Kits @ $7.99 each
Used 2 $5/1 coupons from 4/11 SS stacked with 2 $3/1 Publix coupons from the One Stop One Store Publix booklet
= FREE!
-2 CoffeeMate BOGO @ $1.99 each
Used $1.50/1 Winn Dixie Catalina coupon + .75/1 coupon from the 2/7 RP
= Better than FREE!
-3 packs of Goldfish @ $1 each
No coupons, but this is a great stock up price for Goldfish!
= $3 for 3 bags!
-6 tubes of Arm & Hammer Toothpaste @ 2 for $3
Used 2 $2.50/2 coupons from the 3/21 SS
= $1.50 for 6 tubes of toothpaste! (my stockpile is actually getting below 10 tubes of toothpaste and that makes me nervous, LOL!)
-2 Gatorade G2 Bottles @ $1 each
Used 2 .50/1 coupons from 1/10 SS
= .50 per bottle!
-4 8packs of Apple & Eve Fruitables @ $1.67 each
Used 4 .50/1 coupons from 3/21 SS
= $4.67 for 4 8packs! (My juice box supply is getting low, and I really like the fact that these juice boxes have veggies and fruit in them!)

= $ 1.34 for 2 bottles! This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner so I went ahead and grabbed it for that price!
-2 Benadryl Itch Sticks @ $2.39 each
Used $5/2 coupon from the 4/11 RP
= Better than FREE! The cashier actually gave me the overage!
SPENT: $1.83 SAVED: $12.54
CVS: (from last week’s sale)
-1 bottle of Complete Contact Lens Solution @ $8.99 each –received $8.99 in ECB
-3 bottles of Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner @ $2.99 each-used 3 $2/1 Vocalpoint coupons received $3 in ECB
-1 pack of Paper Towels @ $1.29 used $1 CVS paper product coupon = .29
-1 pack of Stride Gum @ .99 each received back .99 ECB
Total after coupons was: $10.29, then I used $10 in ECB, so I only paid .29 OOP and I received back $8.99 for Contact solution, .99 ECB for Gum, and $3 ECB for Pantene! That is how to “roll” those ECBS and get items for FREE!
Also included in my total for this week, is $5 at the Produce Market, $2 at the Dollar Tree on Bread, and $3 on newspapers
So, after all that I still have $5 left for this week!
